Kurama's eyes swept the room first, even in his anger and worry still checking for threats before tending to the injured one. His eyes were as cold as gold coins, flashing in the dim light. He growled savagely as he took in the state of the cell, knowing that he had given everyone he'd come across in the castle a far too merciful death.

Deciding that there were no traps around to concern himself with, he approached Kuronue, slipping a hand between the bars that separated the two of them.

"Kuro?" he asked, still not sure it wasn't a dream.
