[And another video from our fox.  He's bandaging up his arm yet again and his lip appears to be... chewed on?  And bleeding.  His clothing appears singed and burnt in a few places and is missing half the back of his tunic.  His pantslegs are torn and bloodstained, though the skin underneath is bandaged.  He suddenly looks up at the camera and scowls, his lip bleeding just a little more from the action.  He jerks his head to the side]

I assume you've all heard that Kuro beat me.  Yomi lost to his opponent and Mukuro defeated Natsumi.  Tomorrow Kuro has his battle with Enki and then whoever wins that will go onto the finals.

I pray that Mukuro will lose to one of them, whoever it is.

[There's a light chuckle as the mike switches on.]

Only Yuusuke. [The sound of a squeaky chair as he sits. His voice sounds amused and somewhat fond.] Only Yuusuke would come up with something so... outlandish. An election in the Makai. Raizen is likely laughing his head off, if only for the look on Yomi's face. Fighting for the rule of the Makai...

[Voice is no longer as fond, sounding almost tired.] It's been hell, this past month. A few days after my arrival -- which was a fight for my life about as expected -- Yomi brought me to his holding cells.

[A deep sigh] He captured my assassin. Tortured him. Blinded him. Refused to kill him. Not until he confessed the identity of the one that hired him.

[A small touch of anger enters his voice.] He brought it on himself! They both did! Yomi for forgetting his place and the assassin for not doing his job properly! He should have died! No one challenges me like that and lives!

[An audiable inhale, as though he's trying to calm himself.] Lesson learned. Don't sleep with the underlings. They get full of themselves, start acting out and challening you for leadership and you have to kill them.

At least I was able to secure my position as Yomi's second until Yuusuke's plan went into effect.

Oh, and no one possesses my brother.

It seems Kaasan and Hatanaka-san have decided change the date of their wedding from a fall ceremony to an early spring one.  I'm not sure what exactly prompted this change, but I suspect it has to do with the sakura trees blooming.  Kaasan favors them, after all.

This simplifies things somewhat.  Just a few weeks ago I was contacted by Yomi, of all people, seeking my return to the Makai.  I'll have to negotiate with him, of course, as to how long I'll... visit, since there is only so often I can tell Kaasan I'm going with friends to China.  Perhaps I can give her a trip as a honeymoon gift...
