Kurama sighed, watching Kuronue. This was the second time he'd had to deal with the bat not knowing him in the span of a month. The last one was a virus, but this...

Whoever that girl was, he was going to find her and kill her, but not until after he tortured her for her indiscretions.  No one lived to speak about doing harm to Kurama's if he had anything to say about it.  And he usually did.

He debated with himself for a brief moment before holding out his hand.  "I won't judge you.  I don't think I ever will, in fact.  If you're hurt, you can tell me. I won't breathe a word to another living being, I swear."  He took a deep breath, hoping his heartbreak wasn't bleeding through and showing on his features, though it came out through his voice.  Strained and with the tiniest bit of pain, he added, "Please, Kuro-ai.  Please let me help."

Yoko stood in front of the clearly deranged bat, paying no attention to the body scant inches from his foot. His arms were crossed and his eight tails waved and twitched in obvious annoyance.

This was not the Kuronue he had woken up next to that morning. No, this bat was unhinged, speaking nonsense -- Buried beneath the roses? Him? Honestly. -- and obviously had suffered a head injury of some sort. This was not something the fox wanted to deal with in the slightest, though it was obvious that it would have to be dealt with swiftly.

Illusion, delusion, hallucination?  Yoko was none of these things and would prove it.

His voice was cold, void of emotion that he couldn't spare at the moment.  "Kuronue, explain yourself.  Now."

Kurama stood outside Caducus hospital waiting for Angie to walk out the doors.  He shoved his hands in his pockets, one hand nervously playing with one of the origami roses Kuronue had taken to leaving in random places for him to discover.  He sighed, knowing how important this conversation was going to be.

With Yuusuke's announcment that the tournement was finally going to start this weekend, he had to revise a few things.  Knowing the community's habit of posting video without warning, he realized that a few secrets he had been trying to keep since his first day on the community would likely be exposed.

He didn't want Angie to find the truth out that way.

So here he was, standing outside a hospital in the future -- Although it was a comfort to know that the Y2K glitch was a myth -- waiting for her to show so he could tell her he was a demon.  Yeah, this was going to be a fun night.

deadly_garden: (Angry Yoko)
When he had been Yoko full time, Kurama had learned quickly that removing emotions from the equation in terms of heists and jobs was the only proper way to do things.  Put emotion into it and you got careless and made mistakes.  He'd forgotten that once, and it ended in his losing someone he cared deeply for.

He was no longer Yoko, not as often, but he'd learned his lesson hard that day and never forgot it.  He kept emotion out of all his plans, all his objectives... save this time.

This time he was furious.  He was furious and elated and out for blood.  No one chained up his bat and got away with it.  No one.  And he was going to show them exactly what happened when someone dared attempt it.

He turned to Kid, giving a mental message to his plants to protect the other thief as he did so, once they'd arrived in a thankfully deserted section of the castle.  "Keep a sharp eye.  These are demons, and they will not hesitate."

Barely waiting for an answer, he pulled a rose out of his long silver hair and wordlessly transformed it into his Rose Whip.  "I'm going for Kuronue."

[Kurama managed to sneak away from Yomi and the events in the Makai much easier than he initaily thought he would be.  But then again, he reminded himself, Sorai, Rinpai, and Shunjun reacted very well to seduction, bribery, and blackmail.  He'd have to remember that, especially in the case fo Shunjun, who was actually the one responsible for his injuries that caused his hiding out in the Ningenkai.

He'd made a quick stop at a nearby convience store to pick up a few creature comforts for Kaito, remembering from his mother's multiple trips how bored she had been.  Bag in hand, he made his way to the hospital and up to Kaito's room and knocked on the door.]

Kurama stepped out of Hakuba's car and looked around, fully aware that he'd just been hopped fifteen years into the future of Tokyo.  He took in as much as he could, eyes wide and searching.  It was partly old habits; searching for threats, avenues of escape, and places to hide.  But then he also was taking advantage of this chance, to learn about future events and the state of the world in 2009.

Then he looked around with a different purpose, searching for the magician he was due to deliver a few bars of Hershey's Chocolate to.
